White House press secretary Jen Psaki defended the Biden administration’s move to oust several Trump-era appointees from military academy boards. “We’re confident in our legal abilities here,” Psaki told CNN on Thursday in the wake of several of the appointees’ threatening to file a lawsuit against the administration. The administration will now begin the process of removing 18 appointees of former President Donald Trump who sit on the boards of the Air Force Academy, the Military Academy, and the Naval Academy, she said.
