A recently introduced bill in the U.S. Senate would force many goods manufactured inside the United States to be sold in the country. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) introduced the Make in America to Sell in America Act to try to respond to the supply chain crisis gripping the nation. “It’s past time for the U.S. to end its crippling dependency on foreign manufacturing in countries like China and ensure that we actually produce the goods we need here at home,” Hawley said in a statement.
