Corporate Media Defends Ketanji Brown Jackson for Letting Pedophiles off Easy

Corporate media is going out of its way to defend Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson, from criticism regarding her judicial record, which shows that as a judge she let pedophiles off easy, sentencing them to terms well below the guidelines.

As the Senate confirmation hearings of Biden Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson have gotten underway in DC, corporate media outlets have taken to steadfastly defending Jackson and her judicial record regarding pedophiles.

Before the start of confirmation hearings, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley began publicly exposing Ketanji Brown Jackson’s far-left judicial record, showing that she has been notoriously soft on convicted pedophiles throughout her time in the legal field. As far back as law school, Jackson was even opposed to making convicted sex offenders register and has referred to pedophiles as a “community.”

In one particularly disturbing case profiled by Hawley, a convicted child pornography offender was let off the hook after serving just 3 months in jail, thanks to Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. Sentencing guidelines recommended he serve 10 years. In other child-related cases, despite guidelines at times suggesting convicted offenders spend upwards of a decade in prison, Ketanji Brown Jackson dolled out the lowest possible punishment, sometimes adding up to less than a year behind bars for those who hurt kids in the worst way.

Hawley posted the information to Twitter and brought it up again on the first day of Senate confirmation hearings, leaving corporate media outlets scrambling to “fact-check” him, but finding themselves unable to call him a liar as the information Hawley is citing is laid out in Jackson’s own court documents.

“Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson open this week amid a flurry of misleading allegations by Republican Sen. Josh Hawley,” ABC News reported yesterday in a “fact-check” piece, before admitting in a subsequent paragraph that “court records show that Jackson did impose lighter sentences [against pedophiles] than federal guidelines suggested.”

Along with ABC, a chorus of corporate media outlets piled on Hawley, claiming to be “fact-checking” him but admitting all the while that Jackson’s record on pedophiles is soft, often excusing her record by making comparisons to other judges with similar histories, none of whom have been nominated to sit on the Supreme Court. Even Googling Hawley’s name will lead page after of liberal “fact-checkers” defending Ketanji Brown Jackson’s record on pedophilia and attacking the Missouri Senator, including the supposedly conservative National Review.

I’ve been researching the record of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, reading her opinions, articles, interviews & speeches. I’ve noticed an alarming pattern when it comes to Judge Jackson’s treatment of sex offenders, especially those preying on children
