Foreign-Born MS-13 Members Butchered Teenagers in a Park in the Deep Blue DC Suburbs

Five foreign-born members of MS-13 have been convicted of murdering two teenage boys in the ultra-wealthy, deep blue DC suburbs of Fairfax County, Virginia. Gang members lured the boys to a park before restaining them, killing them, and chopping them up with a machete and pickaxe. They even recorded footage of the brutal murders on a cell phone camera so that videos could be sent back to El Salvador to impress MS-13 bosses, who they hoped would give them promotions within the gang.

The five members of MS-13, all of whom have El Salvador listed as their country of origin in prosecuting documents, were convicted of the suburban gang murders on July 1st and now face mandatory life terms in prison. Additionally, nine other MS-13 members have already pleaded guilty in the case and face the same punishment, and another three have been charged in the investigation that kicked off in 2016 when the murders took place.

Notably, the Department of Justice and local authorities in deep blue Fairfax County have not made information regarding the immigration statuses of the murderous MS-13 members readily available.

According to court records and a press release made by the Department of Justice, the MS-13 murderers “erroneously” believed one victim, who was just 17 years old, to be a member of the rival 18th Street gang. The other, even younger victim, who was only 14, was falsely labeled as a police informant.

In the DOJ release, the underaged victims are not named but referred to by the initials, E.E.E.M. (17-year-old) and S.A.A.T. (14-year-old) respectively.

“MS-13 gang members Elmer Zelaya Martinez, Ronald Herrera Contreras, Henry Zelaya Martinez, Pablo Velasco Barrera, and Duglas Ramirez Ferrera, along with their co-conspirators, targeted E.E.E.M., a 17-year-old resident of Falls Church, who they erroneously suspected was a member of the rival 18th Street gang,” the DOJ press release reads, before revealing details of the gruesome murder.

“On the night of August 28, 2016, the gang lured E.E.E.M. to Holmes Run Stream Valley Park in Fairfax County under the pretense that there was going to be a gang meeting there. Instead, in a wooded area of the park, gang members restrained, attacked, and killed E.E.E.M., stabbing and chopping him more than 100 times with knives, a machete, and a pickaxe. Afterwards, the gang broke one of E.E.E.M.’s legs so that his body would fit into the pre-dug hole that was nearby.”

Nearly a month later, “the same gang members, along with their co-conspirators, targeted S.A.A.T., a 14-year-old resident of Alexandria, who they erroneously suspected was a police informant,” the DOJ statement goes on to explain.

“On the evening of September 26, 2016, the gang told S.A.A.T. that there was going to be a gang meeting later that night and encouraged him to attend. Not long thereafter, S.A.A.T. went outside in his pajamas, telling his mother he was just taking out the trash. Eventually, several gang members picked up S.A.A.T. and drove him to the same park where they had killed E.E.E.M. The gang members restrained, attacked, and killed S.A.A.T., stabbing and chopping him with knives, machetes, and a pickaxe.”

Giving a further glimpse into the brutality of the third-world MS-13 street gang, the DOJ statement goes on to explain that S.A.A.T.’s killers also filmed his murder with a cell phone, “so that they could prove to gang leaders in the United States and in El Salvador that they deserved to be promoted in rank. Once S.A.A.T. was dead, the gang broke his legs and tied him up with his own pajama pants so that he would fit into the shallow grave that was dug for him that night,” the statement went on to recount.

Foreign-originating crime from third-world gangs like MS-13 and others pouring through America’s unsecured southern border has reached a fever pitch in recent years. Alongside crimes of murder, the gangs and cartels have been responsible for fueling America’s seemingly endless supply of lethal illegal drugs and are known to operate at an international level rivaling well-known terrorist organizations. Increasingly, due to their penchant for human trafficking over the southern border, concerns have been raised over convenient alliances being made between the third-world gangs and Islamic terror cells from the other side of the world, who need assistance in ferrying their terrorists into the US. Repeatedly, Korans, prayer rugs, and other Islamic items have reportedly been found in smuggling tunnels and along roadways near and at the US-Mexico border.

Despite all of this, establishment politicians from both parties have repeatedly refused to acquiesce to the will of the American people and secure the nation’s borders.
